H. Moser & Cie. Arctic Blue Pioneer Timepieces

H. Moser & Cie.'s has introduced to its notable Pioneer line two new timepieces — the Pioneer Centre Seconds and the Pioneer Tourbillon. Both dressed with mesmerizing Artic Blue fumé dials, the new pieces also mark the debut of the new 40mm case size for the collection.

The dials’ refreshing, striking, yet radiant blue hue comes encased in a sleek steel build. Adding to the contemporary appeal of the piece is the Moser logo, which is subtly engraved just beneath the 12 o’clock mark, alongside faceted applique indices and leaf-shaped hands in a coordinating color scheme. To enhance legibility even in dark environments, the hands, as well as the dots that encircle the indices are finished with Super-Luminova®. With a water resistance of 12 ATM, the Pioneer model is described as a true all-terrain model that functions just as well on land and underwater by the watchmaker.

Beating inside the exquisite time-tellers are in-house automatic movements that easily power the pieces for three days. The central-seconds model utilizes the Swiss-made HMC 200, meanwhile, the tourbillon version adopts the HMC 804 Manufacture calibre and is equipped with a double hairspring for improved accuracy and isochronism. Securing the timepieces on the wrist are a choice of bracelet options, which range from rubber, textile, and steel, to leather straps that adapt the Pioneer watches to any occasion and aesthetics.

Both Artic Blue timepieces are currently available via Moser's official website. The Pioneer Centre Seconds retails for $14,200 USD, while the Pioneer Tourbillon is priced at $54,900 USD.

Elsewhere in watches, Bamford London celebrates its rich heritage with the B80 Titanium Watch.
